Days 47-54: Anchorage

Laurel

We had a great time in Anchorage, visiting friends and old haunts. It’s definitely a little bittersweet coming back and seeing what still feels like home. Our friends Andrea and Mark put us up (and put up with us), and we couldn’t have had better hosts - thank you, guys! For those who know Anchorage, we climbed Flattop, ate Moose’s Tooth Pizza, drank Kaladi coffee, had a beer at Anchorage Brewing Company, and ate several scones and croissants from Fire Island Bakery!

Panoramic selfie at Flattop: I start the panorama with Ryan in the picture; then once he is out of the frame, he runs around behind and takes the the camera while I scamper over to be in the picture when it pans to the right.

A week was a perfect amount of time to refresh ourselves, and now we’re ready to hit the water again.
