Well, anything would be a let-down after yesterday, so no one will be surprised to hear that today lacked a little spice. It will not be a long post.
The temperatures dropped to the high 30s overnight, so when we woke up cold this morning we decided to take advantage of the hot pools again before we departed Eucott Bay.

When we were bathing yesterday, we discovered that there was a bathtub (literally, a bathtub) next to the hot pools where you could wash your clothes or take a soapy bath or wash your dog or whatever, so Ryan brought some laundry and worked on that between soaks in the people pool.

After that, we reluctantly said farewell to Eucott Bay and headed for a logistics stop at Shearwater.

The scenery today was beautiful in a wet, monochrome way.

Shearwater was like most of the remote communities we’ve visited since starting this trip - mostly empty, waiting for the summer boating season to kick in.

We picked up fuel, water, and a few grocery items before heading to our anchorage in Discovery Harbour. On the way there, we dropped the shrimp pot (third time’s a charm) to soak overnight in Troup Passage. I will report on the harvest tomorrow.
